The Green Standard

"Green" technology is becoming an increasing part of our responsibilities as a community towards our environment. Because of this, we are taking steps to make Lawrence County a more eco-friendly environment through the adoption of industry-proven practices. One way we are achieving this is by making Lawrence County solar ready. This certification will allow businesses to save both time and money by reducing solar "soft costs" (such as costs associated with permitting, planning, etc.) that are typically required before solar companies can begin operating their business. From companies like PureCycle Technologies to Rumpke Waste Services, we are pushing forward into a more eco-friendly future.
